Bani
seized the spotlight when it emerged as the over-all champion in the first ever
Superintendent’s Cup of Schools Division Office 1 Pangasinan during the
celebration of World Teachers’ Day held at Narciso Sports Complex, October 2.
Twenty-three
groups locked horns and Bani racked up 29 points from the different sports
events that made it clinched the top spot while Malasiqui bagged second place
amassing 23 points.
Bolinao
and Bayambang shared the third rank after each of them collected 15 points.
Athletics
was dominated by Malasiqui and Bugallon with eight points each. Bani dictated
the tempo of badminton games as their women smashers scooped three points and
men contenders chipped in one point.
Malasiqui
triumph in basketball and handed Mangatarem their loss in their match up
during the championship game.
Bani,
Bayambang and SDO team tied in billiards with three points each.
Malasiqui
topped the chess tournament and posted seven points routing Mangatarem on the
second place with six points.
Bani
toppled its opponents in table tennis as its players in men and women category
pulled off a total point of seven.
Bani
continued its scintillating performance and seized championship in men and
women volleyball game.
Lingayen
ruled Larong Pinoy and captured six points while Aguilar settled in second spot
with three points.
Schools
Division Superintendent Sheila Marie Premicias initiated the said
Superintendent’s Cup to encourage teachers to be active in sports as part of
