Pang1 GPTA Reaches Fundraising Goal,

Buy a TUMBLER for Struggling Potential Athletes

Cutbacks mean teams must develop their own revenue streams similar to club sports.

In full support for young athletes, and strict compliance through memorandum order “No to single-use plastic”,  the GPTA of Pangasinan 1 Division come up with a great project “TUMBLER, SUPORTA PARA SA ATLETA”

Sports program’s biggest annual hurdle is raising money to pay for training expenses and apparel, among other costs. It’s even more difficult in a sluggish economy, encouraging many generous donors and public school teachers to pinch pennies at the expense of young athletes who will represent the division of Pangasinan 1 for Region 1 Athletic Association meet on February 22-26, 2020.

And there’s no indication that the 21st century fiscal challenges facing elementary and high school sports will fade anytime soon. This places a greater burden on individual programs to navigate the perilous roads of fundraising.

SDS Primicias leads the 2020 Pre-Planning conference with the
PSDSs, Principals, and Head of the different committee.
It’s amazing how people are willing to help, and you’re reducing the price for something that benefits athletes, One of the lessons that we learned is we have to encourage parents, teachers and donors. They have to know that this will benefit for the athletes. ” says Dizon Soquila, GPTA President.“

SDS Primicias, proposed incentives are; to reduce the cost of participation, food allowance for intensive trainings,,  some equipment like backpack, 2O Thousand Cash for the GOLD ( Individual or Team Events ) and 5 Thousand for the GOLD ( Coach / Trainer ).

Through the collaboration with SDS Sheila Marie A. Primicias. “Pledge it for Young Athletes, Performance Based Fundraising for our Athletes, and also to the coaches and trainers,” she said.

“Let’s GO FOR THE CHAMPION, GO FOR GOLD!” she added. (Ursus V. Junatas)

Agony Of The Applicants

THE LONG WAIT IS OVER

ALL-IN" AT YOUR SERVICE.The Signing of Appointments
with the Big Bosses in Division Office of Pangasinan 1.

From its dilly-dally scheme in processing documents and appointments, long waits and delays in the Division Office were seen as something of a status symbol.

Once upon a time, not too long ago, A superior who had a long wait list for appointments or a long pending in the waiting room must have been an awfully good superior to have such “demand.” Even when applicants / clients began to complain, many groups were hardly eager and willing to wait because there was a certain amount of security accompanying the status quo.

The One Stop Appointment has started adopting standardized procedures to make appointment start-ups easier. SDS Sheila Marie A. Primicias stressed that Division Office/School Offices should issue clear requirements with regard to public requests.

In compliance of President Duterte issued Memorandum Circular No. 44 requiring government entities to respond to all public requests and concerns within 15 days. The memorandum seeks to fast-track government transactions and address red tape.

The memorandum covered front line services, which was defined as "process or transaction between clients and government offices or agencies involving applications for any privilege, right, permit, reward, license, concession, or for any modification, renewal or extension of the enumerated applications and/or requests which are acted upon in the ordinary course of business of the agency or office concerned.”

Through the implementation of “One Stop Appointment” announced by Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias Schools Division Superintendent of SDO1 Pangasinan during the Day 1 of World Teachers’ Day, September 30, 2019. To gain control over your schedule, you must do the unthinkable: Offer every client an appointment for today. The new office policy is Office to Office Transaction, Let the Records Section to receive your papers, tatakbo ng mag-isa, I will seriously eradicate the Red Tape, si applicant na aabutin ng matagal bitbit parati ang papeles niya dahil pagpunta niya walang taong maaabutan at babalik ulit siya..” kung meron mang White Tape or Black Tape I will also eradicate it” SDS Primicias, said.

Appointment Day in Division Office is scheduled every Monday, “One Stop pipirma lahat sabay sabay pipirma pati Principal kasama,  Kapag nasubmit nila documents na kailangan until Friday, kasama na sila on the next Appointment Day ”, added SDS Primicias. (Ursus Villamil Junatas)

CAPABILITY BUILDING
QUALITY ASSURANCE MOVEMENT FOR SDO 1 PANGASINAN

Brainstorming: SDO1 Pangasinan housekeeping focal persons
/ commitee members who will help in the implementation of the 7S.
October 9, 2019.

Watch out! Implementing  guiding principles to govern every activity within a moldmaking or molding facility is essential to properly managing the supply chain.

The implementation of SMAP ( Sulitin Mo ang Paglilinis/ Pag-aayos / Pag-Implement)  7S System.

The Department of Education School Division Office of Pangasinan 1 shall be implementing the SMAP 7S SYSTEM in all offices for efficiency, productivity and quality improvement effective October 2019.

SMAP 7S is a management initiative that focuses on establishing a quality work environment in the organization, ensuring adherence to standards and in the process, fosters the spirit of continuous improvement culture, fortify work relationships and make other functional divisions, units and sections head to stay connected from each other.

Each of the seven steps plays an integral role in helping facilities successfully implement and sustain the 7S system. Once each step has been implemented, the 7S system is designed to function indefinitely. To achieve this, managers and shop employees must embrace the system by integrating it into their daily work routines. Keep in mind, reaching the final step in 7S signifies the completion of implementation, but never ends the overall system of organization. 7S should continue to cycle through previous steps, as appropriate, so a shop remains organized for maximum efficiency.

This system focuses on the following management techniques:

SORT (SEIRI) to set systematically discard items that are not needed in the office.

SET IN ORDER (SEITON) to arrange necessary items in a neat and systematic manner so that they can be easily retrieved for use and to return after use.

SHINE (SEISO) to clean and inspect the workplace thoroughly so that there will be no dirt on the floor, machines and equipments.

STANDARDIZE (SEKETSU) to maintain a high standard of workplace organization by keeping everything clean and orderly at all times.

SUSTAIN (SHITSUKI) to train people practice the 5S system faithfully so that it becomes habitual and ingrained in the culture of organization.

SAFETY. Safety is an integral part of each of the original 5S phrases. The main benefit of 6S over the benefits of 5S is that added focus on safety, used in areas with more hazardous processes it can help to reduce even further the risk of an incident.

SPIRITUALITY (Spirit) Spirit is added to remind people that it should be fun, and that creativity is key to coming up with new ideas and better ways to implement 5S. Without engaged workers , the 5S approach will not last or be successful.

When work areas are functional and clean, Division office have a better chance for achieving positive process results, higher quality, increased productivity, reduced cost, increased employee satisfaction and a safer workplace. With these procedures implemented and monitored, you can expect that your workplace will be maintained in a suitable manner and will lend itself to be a valuable asset. (Ursus Villamil Junatas)

MESSAGE OF THANKS

Early this morning, as I am browsing on my phone, I have come across this quotation from a Swiss moral philosopher known as Henri Frederic Amiel which goes, “Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts.”

I really felt so reinvigorated because we are on the last day of this WTD 2019 Celebration. Thinking of how huge the challenge was at first, I really felt so blessed because we are able to finish it SUCCESSFULLY.

After 10 days of stint as the OIC-SDS , there is indeed a challenge on how to hold this so-called
"Best and Brightest WTD Ever!"

First and foremost, I would like to thank our Lord God for giving us fine weather; for the Divine Providence, strength and guidance given to each and every member of our family.

Of course, I would like to thank the good governor, Gov. Amado "Pogi" I. Espino III,  for being  selfless and generous in sharing his presence, resources and precious time.

I would also like to thank the supportive Congressmen of SDO1 Pangasinan, Cong. Noli Celeste of 1st District, Cong. Jumel Anthony Espino of 2nd District and Cong. Rose Marie Baby Arenas of 3rd District.

Same salutations be given to the 22 Municipal Mayors, especially the President of the Mayors' League, Hon. Leopoldo N. Bataoil,  that I have met and have exchanged good words with, thank you so much.

Special citation be given to MTRCB Chair Rachel Arenas for the outpouring support.

To the different committees behind the great success of this momentous event, same credits be for you. Thanks for all the selfless efforts and untiring sacrifice to make this dream a possible. You are one with me in our road to a more meaningful and more significant celebration.

And most especially to you my dear teachers, for being so supportive of me, and to our #HappyToServe advocacy. Rest assured that I will make that #SaPang1HappySiTeacher a reality. Together, let's stand firm and be united for the greater benefit of our schoolchildren.

Mabuhay ang Gurong Pilipino,
Mabuhay ang SDO1 Pangasinan!
Sheila Marie A. Primicias, Happy to Serve. 🙂

#SaPang1HappySiTeacher
"When I was tasked by SDS Sheila Marie through the generous endorsement of Dr. Jojo L. Jose, I felt so pressured. But nonetheless, I am very much honored. I immediately conceptualized how I should be able to make the stage equally-grandeous as our new SDS is. Pressured as it may seem, but I gave all my best through the aid of my talented trainees", said Sir Al.

"I am very proud of Sir Al Anthony because he is really a master in terms of arts and designs. To be honest, he is a multi-awarded coach in various contests. Plus, his extra talented and equally-crreative students, well, it will surely be a hit", exclaimed his principal, Dr.Herminia V. Quiambao.

Sir Al is also a recipient of this year's Bayaning Guro 2019 and is set to receive an LED TV and E-bike. (by Johnny S. Corrales)
