DepEd RO-I Kicks off Brigada Eskwela 2018 in San Carlos City, DepEd to Intensify Partnership

SAN CARLOS CITY, PANGASINAN – The Department of Education (DepEd) Region I kicked off Brigada Eskwela at Federico Mandapat Sports Dome, Central II Elementary School, San Carlos City, Pangasinan today, May 28.

Undersecretary for Legislative Affairs, External Partnerships, and School Sports Tonisito M.C. Umali served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. USEC Umali underscored the importance of partnership among stakeholders.

Regional Launching of 2018 Oplan Balik Eskwela and Press Conference

Different partner stakeholders like media, inter-agency, federated PTAS, School heads, teachers, and students participated in the Regional launching of 2018 Oplan Balik Eskwela cum Press Conference at DepEd Regional Office 1, May 25.

This event was speaeheaded by the Regional Oplan Balim Eskwela-Public Assistance Command Center(OBE-PACC) chaired by OIC ARD Nicolas T. Capulong.

Quality service at its best!

To standardize the delivery of organizational process and enhance the services to its clientele, an orientation on Quality Management System (QMS) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Foundation Course for the Schools Division Office of San Carlos City was held at the Siringan Sanctuary, May 25.

ISO 9001 is the world’s most popular management system standard. It is an excellent framework to help manage businesses effectively to be operationally resilient, build long-term success and most of all ensure customer satisfaction. The quality management system requirements specified in this International Standard are complementary to requirements for products and services.

To better serve our clients and stakeholders, the DepEd Regional Office set this day, May 21 as Brigada Opisina.

This yearly activity is conducted to improve our services, including the environment and to further strengthen the camaraderie of Deped family in the Regional Office.

This activity is also in preparation for the Offices' application for ISO Certification.
